Wakatu extension

The owners of this property approached Dunlea Building wishing to add 64m2 to their house.

The plans were designed by the owners to maximise the views of this hillside property. The extension incorporated a new entrance to the property with a raised ceiling, new laundry, office and a new master bedroom with ensuite. It was important that the extension was in keeping with the original house. The exterior plaster system used on the extension and the copper spouting matched the original house.

It has a monotech plaster system exterior.

The entrance has village stone pillars with a raised interior ceiling entrance.

The interior of the property features wall display boxes which enable difference textures and colours to be added and changed on a regular basis. Solar panels on the roof heat the water in the underfloor heating in this property.

Each room has individually controlled heating.

The lighting in this property is spectacular having used hardware that is the latest to the market. The plaster system applied to the exterior of this home is warantied for 10 years by the applicators. Stoke deck

This 150m2 deck in Stoke was built using hardwood timbers.

The owners decided that ramp access would enable easier access for wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams.

Dunlea Building also created a great finish to the work by incorporating built in seating along with T+G hardwood fencing for privacy along one side.
